Marilda Simonidhi, née à Tirana (Albanie), a étudié à l’académie des Beaux Art de Turin où elle se spécialise à la peinture et la gravure puis elle vient s’installer en France en 2001. Elle effectue un stage chez l’imprimeur taille-doucier Daniel Moret, puis suit des cours du burin de Marc Robert à l’école Boulle.
